February 10, 2008 Our very first podcast is up! Hosted at the wonderful libsyn, registered with the wonderful iTunes, and blogged about here at the official website. Woot! February 9, 2008 Work on the website begins in earnest with much coding and cursing and many, many cups of coffee later, the website goes up behind the ubiquitous 'under construction' page. Signed up wth libsyn.com! And applied to a musical promotion website that will give us access to music for the podcast. February 8, 2008 Experiments with Garageband allow Fey to conclude that the entire thing can be done in said program, from the creation of opening music to the actual recording itself. To keep things organized, Fey decides on MacJournal, which she already owns a license to, and which also has an audio function. She decides to use MacJournal for note taking as her research continues throughout each month leading up to the podcast's release. February 6, 2008 The acquisition of a USB headset proves fruitful! Testing results in actual recordings of my actual voice! February 2, 2008 After a long, frustrating period of experimentation with the beast that is my laptop, I have decided "Yes, I CAN podcast". And this domain, after a brief incarnation as a pagancentric blog, was reborn to host said podcast. Preliminary work on the site's design begins with a beautiful, purple hibiscus flower, taken from a royalty free image sharing website. Thanks to sxc.hu!
